Fully assembled cardboard dinosaur ready for painting.

Dinosaur started from a paper pattern and then transferred onto cardboard and then cut out and assembled into its components. A wooden skeleton was constructed and the components were assembled around it.

Dinosaur painted and waiting to have thousands of paper blossoms stuck onto it.

Dinosaur completely covered in paper blossoms.

Photo of the finished float during the Alexandra Blossom Festival parade on the front page of the Otago Daily Times. The float won two awards, People's Choice and Best School.

Thanks goes to the Alexandra Primary School PTA for all the hard work sticking on thousands and thousands of paper blossoms. Credit also to the Canon Creative Park for the free download of the Paper Craft dinosaur which formed the basis for the construction of the dinosaur .
